Our Allotment site was created by Swillington Parish Council from what was a semi-derelict site. The Council invested in a 6ft. steel fence and the site was roughly leveled. Then work commenced. Over the past 3 years we have laid paths, erected huts and greenhouses, and numerous other small projects to make the site look more like an Allotment.  

As you can see from the picture above taken in June 2006, we now have ten small but well laid out and productive plots. Click the following link to see how it all started.        The Beginning
